Tami began selling horses at age 8 when she sold her first pony for $50.00. Tami is a 3rd generation horse trainer and has learned from years of first hand experience. Her mother specialized in barrel horses while her father specialized in team roping & horsemanship. Tami furthered her education under top trainers and has been professionally training horses for 25 years. When she went to work for the Lawton’s in 2004, she was more than acquainted with their program. Her parents had been breaking Lawton horses since Tami was a little girl. Since Tami had specialized in barrel racing, Jack, Sr. sent Tami to numerous cutting horse trainers in Texas and Oklahoma to further our cutting and performance horse programs. Tami has learned the modern techniques of cutting, training & showing necessary to produce competitive horses in many aspects of the horse world.

If you are interest in a Lawton Horse or in our training or breeding program please contact Tami.
